According to Yahoo News, original keyboardist Alan Wilder considers a full-on reunion a possibility. After performing with the group this past February — his first time in over a decade — at the Teenage Cancer Trust charity show at London’s Royal Albert Hall, it seems the keyboardist feels nostalgic:

“It was nice to see the lads again. I’ve had a lot of good feedback. It was a really good day. It felt really important for me. Going back on stage was like I’d never been away. It was all there as I remembered it, the whole circus. I wouldn’t rule it out happening again in the future.”

Given Depeche Mode’s knack for taking some time between records, it’s a shame all this nostalgia couldn’t have happened sometime in 2008. But let’s hope the good ideas keep brewing for a possible 2011 or 2012 run-through of dates.
