Brian Johnson is set to pen a few songs for the soundtrack for the forthcoming indie film 'Doonby', which is being described as a cross between 'It's A Wonderful Life' and 'Crazy Heart'.

Starring John Schneider ('Smallville', 'The Dukes Of Hazzard') and Robert Davi ('Die Hard', 'License To Kill'), the film follows "a mysterious stranger who takes a job as a singing bartender and always seems to be in the right place at the right time, a quality that inspires a dangerous level of envy from his new neighbors."

Filming is set to begin next month in Austin.
