It is still uncertain whether or not Tool will release a fifth album in 2010, but we do know the Los Angeles based progressive metal band will be touring this summer.В  U.S. performances include New Orleans, Houston, and Oklahoma City in late June.В  Then they venture north to Canada, performing in Edmonton and Vancouver in early July.

Tools latest release, 2006’s 10,000 Days was number one on the Billboard 200 charts.  Since then, the band has been busy with other projects. 

Guitarist Adam Jones has a comic book series due out this summer, titled “X-Files/30 Days of Night.”  And frontman Maynard James Keenan has been pursuing his passion for wine to create the wine making documentary, Blood into Wine, which recently premiered in select theaters February through April and will soon be available on DVD.
