Reunited grunge quartet Soundgarden played their first concert in over 13 years on April 16 at Seattle's Showbox to 1,100 lucky fans.

As reported by SPIN contributor, longtime fans were desperate to buy scalped tickets to the sold-out gig, waving signs out front of the downtown Seattle venue that read, "Name your price." Some even speculated that a few fans got in by bribing the club's bouncers for $2500 in order to join Mark Arm and Matt Lukin of Mudhoney, ex-Shins member Dave Hernandez, Sub Pop co-founder Jonathan Poneman, photographer Charles Peterson, Built to Spill drummer Scott Plouf, and Exene Cervenka of Los Angeles punk legends X inside the venue.
