Snoop Dogg leaves co-headlining tour with Limp Bizkit
12 May 2010Perhaps after hearing 'Douchebag', Snoop Dogg, just a week after we initially announced the collaboration, has dropped out of a tour he would’ve shared with rap-rockers Limp Bizkit. No reason for the cancellation was given, but Limp Bizkit has already replaced Snoop with fellow West Coast rap maven Ice Cube.
What’s more, speaking recently with MTV News, frontman Fred Durst noted that a few other notable acts will also be joining the tour.
“Method Man and Redman [will be on] on some dates … some other bands too,” Durst said. “We’re excited. We’re just going to keep rocking. Personally, I feel like a lot of rockers don’t necessarily go see the urban artists they like at urban concerts. I think it’d be nice to bring the urban artist to the rock place, so they can be in their comfort zone and see some other type of acts.”
