MUSHROOMHEAD Completes Mixing New Album
26 May 2010Vocalist Jeffrey Nothing (a.k.a. Jeffrey Hatrix) of the Ohio-based alternative metal band MUSHROOMHEAD was interviewed by Nic and Big J on the May 23 edition of "The Morning After" show, which airs on the Boise, Idaho radio station KQXR 100.3 The X Rocks.
In a March 2010 interview with the "Iron City Rocks" podcast, Jeffrey Nothing revealed that the working title of MUSHROOMHEAD's new album is "Slaughterhouse Road". The band recently finished mixing the CD for a tentative late August/early September release via Megaforce.
Produced by co-founding member and drummer Steve "Skinny" Felton, the album promises to be the band's "most violent- and epic-sounding to date!"
"Volume 2", the latest DVD from MUSHROOMHEAD, sold 2,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 7 on the Top Music Videos chart.
