While there aren't any definitive plans for Sleater-Kinney to reunite, one of its singer/guitarists isn't sitting on the sidelines watching other bands any longer.

Corin Tucker rolls out her new band, The Corin Tucker Band, with a debut release, '1,000 Years' Oct. 5 from Kill Rock Stars.

Tucker rounds out her band with the help of other Pacific Northwestern notables Sara Lund of Unwound and Seth Lorinczi from The Golden Bears. The impetus for Tucker's return to music came last year, when at a pair of benefit shows, she debuted a handful of new songs.

"Everyone was saying, 'Oh, it'd be cool if you made a record'," Tucker said in a statement. "So I thought, Yeah! I should!"

1,000 Years' track listing is:

01. 1,000 Years
02. Half A World Away
03. It's Aways Summer
04. Handed Love
05. Doubt
06. Dragon
07. Riley
08. Pulling Pieces
09. Thrift Store Coats
10. Big Goodbye
11. Miles Away
