They may have been on hiatus for the past ten years, but now one of Bulgaria's foremost underground bands of the 90s are reuniting to play the Jack Daniel's Rock Stage at Spirit of Burgas 2010!

KARTZER will hit the stage on Saturday, July 14, right after the Everlast set on the festival's Main Stage. The band''s line-up consists of Staffa Vassilev (currently a member of The Revenge Project) on guitar, Artery guitarist Mena Hubenov, Maria Duilgerova (Siluet) on bass and London-based vocalist Sitko Isidorov.

Joining the band in Burgas will be Siluet drummer Martin Profirov, formerly of Dark Inversion.

KARTZER originally formed in 1992 and quickly established themselves as one of the more interesting Bulgarian underground acts. An article about the band in 'New Rhythm' magazine bore the headline "Bulgarian hardcore is alive and kicking!" The band themselves often cited Biohazard and Machine Head as their main influences, although they were always quick to point out that they had their own thing going on musically.
