Bassist Bobby Burns has revealed in a posting on his Twitter profile that he has left SOULFLY after seven years and four albums with the Max Cavalera-led band.

He writes, "To all the fans... SOULFLY and I have decided to part ways. Stay tuned for my next projects already in the works. Thanks 4 ur support!!!"

Burns, a self-described "bass player, guitarist, songwriter and producer," also handles guitar, bass and vocal duties for the hip-hop/punk/metal band PRIMER 55.
