Jamie Price sentenced to at least 21 years in prison.

Goldie's son has been sentenced to life imprisonment yesterday (September 7) after being found guilty of killing a disabled man in 2008.

Jamie Price stabbed Marlon Morris four times – once fatally in the heart – in Wolverhampton city centre on August 24, 2008. He is said to have chased Morris, who was unarmed, before attacking him. Morris, who was disabled, was an associate of the Pendeford Crew, while Price was a member of the Heath Town gang, reports the Independent.

Goldie was not at Nottingham Crown Court court today, where Judge John Milmo QC sentenced Price to at least 21 years in prison. The judge blamed gang culture for the murder.

He said: "The refusal of gangs to accept the law of the land, coupled with the desire to impose their own anarchic ways, cannot be tolerated by society."

He added: "In a case of this kind there are no winners, only losers. Everyone involved here has lost and lost in a very significant sense, whether the sentence is one of life or one of death."
