PEARL JAM Get Baby-Friendly
10 September 2010Baby Mozart was one thing, but can you really imagine versions of Pearl Jam songs turned into lullabies for your baby?
Regardless of whether you can imagine it, Pearl Jam are the latest act whose music will be turned into soft little tunes for your wee one. A Pearl Jam edition of the Rockabye Baby series, which will feature 13 of their songs, is out Oct. 26.
That means your baby won't have its tiny little ear drums blown out by the guitars on "Even Flow" and you'll have less risk of emotionally traumatizing him or her when you put "Daughter" on.
Why? Well, Pearl Jam's guitar/bass/drums set-up has been replaced by glockenspiel, vibraphone, harps, bells and a Mellotron. Hopefully they have also replaced Eddie Vedder's grating voice with something that will also be kinder for little ears.
Nirvana, Green Day, Metallica, Radiohead, AC/DC and Coldplay are among the artists whose music has previously been turned into baby-friendly tunes by the Rockabye Baby series.
