The discography of Motörhead is so impressing that we hardly count all of the releases in it. And we don’t have to hide it – every time we are surprised how good they are. The band is tirelessly and with every passed year it harden its cult status as stable as only Lemmy, Phil and Mikkey can make it.
Hardly anyone will be surprised that "Motörizer" is typical for Motörhead. What do I mean? For the sake of brevity – snuffle Lemmy, powerful bass, smashing drums, rock and roll guitar and heavy blues. I can’t lie – the record can’t surprise the well prepared fan. Objectively there is no need something new to happen and I’m sure that the fanatic of this theme will confirm this. Kilmister and his colleagues have shown what can they made and that they made it well. The most important thing in this case is that after these decades, Motörhead continue to record new albums which are even better then their predecessors.
"Motörizer" is opened by the typical for the band groovy fast song, "Runaround man". In these, less then tree, minutes we realize that the old guns still shoot well and that everybody is still welcome for a fist in his ass if he tries to disturb the uncle Lemmy. The creativity of this Trinity is impressing – solos such as these is "Heroes", make me think that the time for the band is coming, not passing by irrevocably.
If someone thought that Motörhead did not give everything possible from them – he should not even touch this album. Motörhead have never been and won’t be outmoded, they have never ridden the high horse and beaten their chests for making something incredible for the world culture – only with the help of their music and their titanic live performance they’ve built a concrete monument around their logo.
The CD ends 40 minutes after its start and in these seconds, while Lemmy says "This is our time, we have you now, you are our great delight...", we can’t argue with him.
