Former Dead Kennedys frontman Jello Biafra stated in an interview for the Norweigan newspaper Aftenposten that he doesn’t mind fans stealing music major labels, but not from the indie ones… like his own Alternative Tentacles.
“You may take from the big labels, because the only thing they do is steal from both the artists and the audience,” Jello said. “Tiny record companies, however, need the dough, so don’t swipe their stuff.”
