A.F.I. Side Project Sets First Live Date!

A.F.I. singer Davey Havok and guitarist Jade Puget‘s electronic side project, Blaqk Audio, will make its live debut on August 30th at the PopScene festival in San Francisco. The new act’s debut album, CexCells, arrives in stores on August 14th.

There’s no word on whether Havok and Puget will be joined by any other musicians in the live incarnation of Blaqk Audio. The pair have been working on the project on and off for several years.

Blaqk Audio plans to tour behind the new album. A.F.I. doesn’t have any live dates on its schedule until October.

Havok and Puget told MTV.com last month that they are already writing songs for the follow-up to A.F.I.’s last effort, decemberunderground, and may release an EP of leftover songs from that album later in the year.
