The Lebanon-born American citizen with Armenian origin, Serj Tankian, better known as frontman for the unique System of a Down, shall release his debut solo album (view cover in the left), as it got clear in April.
Entitled “Elect the Dead”, the CD is going to appear on October 23 via the singer’s own Serjical Strike label. The effort shall contain 12 tracks produced by Serj himself, who played most of the instruments as well, with the help of drummers John Dolmayan of System of a Down and Primus’ Brian Mantia.
