Elijah Wood, known mainly as the actor who played Frodo in the “Lord of the Rings” saga, is set to play Iggy Pop in a movie about his life. The biopic, entitled “The Passenger”, concentrates on the singer’s early career with The Stooges and is set to begin filming within six months.
Iggy himslef won’t take part in the movie. At the moment he’s playing shows with the recently reunited The Stooges in support of their comeback album, “The Weirdness”, reviewed on our website.
