Freebass – a new band made up of three bass players, namely New Order‘s Peter Hook (on the photo), The Smiths‘ Andy Rourke and Primal Scream‘s Gary “Mani” Mounfield – are working on their debut album with a number of high-profile frontmen.
So far the band has got 12 songs, and among the singers chosen for lay down vocals are Ian Brown (ex-The Stone Roses), Liam Gallagher (Oasis), Tim Burgess (The Charlatans) and Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream).
