Asesino’s second album, “Cristo Satanico” (“Satanic Christ”), has just been issued via Dino Cazares’ own label Odio Records. The follow-up to 2002’s “Coridos de Muerte” was recorded at Undercity Studios in Los Angeles and contains “15 songs of filthy perversion, satanism, molestation, rape, sodomy, murder, death… oh, and of course, love,” according to a press release.
The audio version of first single off the CD, “Regresando Odio” (watch the video on Asesino’s MySpace profile), features an additional appearance by El Odio (a.k.a. Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed) on backing vocals. Another track features Sepulculo (a.k.a. Sepultura‘s Andreas Kisser) on lead guitar.
Asesino’s main line-up consists of Mr. Asesino himself (a.k.a. Dino Cazares – guitarist of Brujeria, ex-Fear Factory), Maldito-X (a.k.a. Static-X‘s roaring bass player Tony Campos), and El Sadistico (a.k.a. Sadistic Intent‘s drummer Emilio Marquez).
