The Doors are set to receive a lifetime achievement award at next year’s Grammys.
The Jim Morrison fronted seminal sixties act will be given the special honour at the award ceremony on February 11 in Los Angeles.
Also receiving the award are The Grateful Dead, Joan Baez, saxophonist Ornette Coleman and soul stars Booker T and the MGs.
