Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich and his girlfriend, actress Connie Nielsen, are expecting their first baby together.
“They are ecstatic,” Nielsen’s rep, Joy Limanon, tells People. The baby is due in the early summer.В
Ulrich and Nielsen have been dating for the past two years. Both have children from previous marriages - Nielsen has a 16-year-old son and Ulrich has two sons – 5 and 8, respectively.
Meanwhile, Metallica are already rehearsing the songs for their new album and will enter the studio next month.
It is expected that the CD, producer by the legendary Rick Rubin, will come out in the end of summer or beginning of autumn next year.
