COLDPLAY will play new songs on their South American tour

In spite the fact that they proclaimed their intentions to go on a long vacation, COLDPLAY announced dates for a South American tour, at which they will present new material.

The tour starts in February in Chile, goes through Argentina and Brazil and ends in March in Mexico. The idea of the band is to “try out” new songs written recently to be included in their new album.

According to BBC, Coldplay will be playing in much smaller venues, than the giant stadiums they played in 2003.
