U2 have announced the release date of their new greatest hits compilation.
The collection titled вЂU218 Singles’ is released on November 21 and features 16 of the band’s best known songs, plus two additional tracks.
The new songs were recorded with Rick Rubin at Abbey Road Studios last month, one of which is the Green Day collaboration вЂThe Saints Go Marching,’ out later this month.
вЂU218 Singles’ will be augmented by a bonus live CD that will feature 10 songs from the Vertigo tour in Milan last year. A DVD package will follow shortly.
As previously reported, U2 have recently left Island records, so the greatest hits package will be released through the Mercury imprint instead.
