SOULFLY bassist Bobby Burns will sit out the band’s U.S. Dark Ages Tour with after suffering a stroke last Thursday. Although home at this time, Burns will need long rest for recovery.
The two bassists stepping up to the plate for their SOULFLY brother are Dave Ellefson (formerly of MEGADETH, currently of F5/TEMPLE OF BRUTALITY). Ellefson will be the bass player through September 26. From September 27 through the remainder of the tour, Danny Lilker (formerly of ANTHRAX/S.O.D., currently in NUCLEAR ASSAULT and BRUTAL TRUTH) will take over on bass.
