Radiohead Producer Starts New TV Show

Thom Yorke and former Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich is starting his own television show for British TV.

‘From The Basement’ features a variety of star guests performing live, with Thom Yorke, Four Tet and The White Stripes appearing in the first episode.

Godrich said: “I’m interested in the visual arts side of things, and somehow integrating that into what records have become.

“People don’t buy albums so much because, as a medium, it’s changing, so I’m just trying to figure out what it’s changing into, and chasing after that,” quotes ateaseweb.com.

The acclaimed producer also added that the performances will be available to download over the coming weeks.

The second episode is set to feature Beck and Jamie Liddell.
