FIREGOD, the new Swedish/Danish “all-star” project featuring Hal Patino (bass; KING DIAMOND), Snowy Shaw (drums; ex-KING DIAMOND, DREAM EVIL), Mike Wead (guitar; KING DIAMOND, MERCYFUL FATE) and Simon Johannsson (guitar; MEMORY GARDEN, FIFTH REASON), has a inked a two-album deal with Vic Records. The group, whose sound is being described as “progressive doom,” is still searching for a suitable lead vocalist.
FIREGOD‘s debut CD is expected sometime next year.
