Download Ends With Arrests

The Download Festival seems to have ended with a
small minority running riot around the campsite, starting several fires and
generally causing mayhem. About a dozen people were detained, and may face
charges of assault and criminal damage. Fortunately no one was seriously hurt.
However, this was out of context with the weekend; in general fans’ behavior
throughout the festival was praised by police.
Headline act GUNS N’ ROSES closed the three-day festival which was
attended by about 75,000 people.
