Michael Stipe and Iggy Pop Work With New York Dolls

Iggy Pop and Michael Stipe are set to team up with New York Dolls on the band’s first new album in over thirty years.
The thirteen track album ‘One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This’ hits the shelves Stateside on July 25 and also features a contribution from Bo Diddley.
Michael Stipe appears on the track ‘Dancing on the Lip of a Volcano’, Iggy Pop lends vocals to ‘Gimme Love and Turn on the Light’, while Diddley sings on ‘Seventeen.’
Jack Douglas is producing the album – the same man who engineered the band’s eponymous album.
New York Dolls consist of original members David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain and come with four instrumentalists.
