BLOC PARTY release their new single ‘Pigwig,’ the final song to be lifted from their forthcoming album Anatomy Of A Brief Romance ahead of its release on 11 September on the newly formed record label Contagious Music in standard and limited edition vinyl, CD and digital formats.
Produced by the legendary Trevor Horn (Grace Jones, Pet Shop Boys, Frankie Goes To Hollywood), Anatomy Of A Brief Romance is a chronological portrait of frontman Kele Okereke‘s intoxicating love affair. The album’s opening five song run is the sound of falling and falling hard. They are about “the moment I knew / that I’d been found“, as Okereke sings on ‘Pigwig’.
