Black Sabbath’s new album 13 has made Number One in the UK album charts.
It’s the first time Ozzy Osbourne and co hit the top spot since 1970′s Paranoid – meaning they now hold the world record for the longest time between Number One hits.
13, appropriately, sold 13,000 more than runner-up Beady Eye, fronted by former Oasis loudmouth Liam Gallagher.
Ozzy says: “I’m in shock. The success of this album has blown me off my feet. We’ve never hard a record climb the charts so fast.”
Rod Stewart, whose new album Time is at Number Three this week, previously held the UK’s longest-gap record with 37 years. Bob Dylan was the former overall holder at 38 years.
