Dave Grohl has confirmed on BBC Radio 1 Foo Fighters has already completed seven songs with producer Butch Vig.
He described the untitled effort as the group’s “heaviest work to date,” with “no acoustic guitars at all.”
The album will also feature a few rather high-profile guests, as Grohl noted former HГјsker DГј frontman Bob Mould appears on a track called ‘Dear Rosemary’, while former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic plays on at least one song.
And if all that weren’t enough, Grohl said the Foo Fighters are documenting the entire recording process for an upcoming film.
