Moody-Murray Monsters Of British Rock, a new band featuring the ex-Whitesnake pair of guitarist Micky Moody and bassist Neil Murray, play Farnborough Football Club Rush Festival May 29, Croydon Fairfield Halls June 12, South Shields Amphitheatre 19, Powderham Castle Thunder Music And Bike Festival July 17, Cambridge Rock Festival August 7. A full UK tour follows in November.
The band also includes ex-Wishbone Ash guitarist Laurie Wisefield, Heartland vocalist Chris Ousey, ex-Thunder drummer Harry James, plus keyboard player Michael Bramwell, from the hit Queen musical ‘We Will Rock You’.
The set will have songs they’ve been associated with down the years. Apart from those bands mentioned above, that could also mean material from Gary Moore, Eric Clapton, Magnum, Jeff Beck, Queen & Paul Rodgers.
