DEVO are set to re-issue two of their classic albums as well as play them in there entirety on their upcoming tour of North America.
Released on November 3, DEVO’s 1978 debut ‘Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!’ and 1980’s ‘Freedom Of Choice’, will both come out on deluxe CD and limited edition coloured vinyl.
Also released will be a 7″ vinyl-only edition of ‘Jocko Homo’/’Mongoloid’.
As well as the re-issues the band are also set to play both albums in full on their upcoming North American tour.
Playing two nights at each venue the band will play ‘Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!’ in full on the first night, followed by ‘Freedom Of Choice’ the following night.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow (September 18) although some pre-sale information for certain dates can be found at ClubDevo.com/tour.
For any fans that buy tickets online, they’ll also get some bonus demos with unreleased early versions of ‘Whip It’, ‘Turn Around’, and ‘Red Shark’ – the last of which eventually became ‘It’s Not Right’ – as a thank you from the band.
