‘Butterfly’В and ‘E Misery’ are the titles of the first new songs by Babyface Clan in almost 7 years. The most relevant Bulgarian alternative band of the 90s came out of a five-year hiatus this Spring with promises of a new album.
The crowd at the Jack Daniel’s Rock Stage in Burgas got to hear the new material, delivered in formidable fashion, despite the band being without regular bass player Bobby Strukanski for this particular gig. The Clan’s set was met with a very warm reception from the sizeable crowd, who’d been pleasurably ear-bashed by Odd Crew prior to that.
At one point during the explosive set, a punter decided to show his appreciation by chucking a water bottle onstage, which did no go down too well with Nasso, the frontman promptly leaping into the crowd to sort the irritant out. Fortunately the incident was over in nio time and the band resumed playing, much to the delight of their fans.
You can check out Nasso’s show on Tangra Mega Rock, weekdays from 10-2 p.m. BG time.
