Oh yey, Odd fucking Crew took the Jack Daniel’s rock stage by storm a mere ten minutes after Faith No More had concluded their incredible set in front of 13 000 bedazzled punters on the main stage. Now, to say Faith No More is a tough act to follow may be the biggest understatement of the new century, but Odd Crew did a mighty fine job of it nevertheless.
A large portion of the FNM crowd ended up in front of the JD rock stage, where the most promising young Bulgarian band played an absolute blinder. These guys can not only play their instruments (they’re tight as fuck), but they’ve got the tunes and they ooze light and optimism. Perhaps that’s down to them being childhood friends. And one other thing – they know what they want and how to achieve it! Not only did the boys play most of their killer debut album ‘WE ARE WHAT WE ARE’, but they also slipped in two brand new songs – ‘A Bottle of Friends’ and ‘One More Time’. All in all, a cracking set and a pretty good visual show too. And to think they’ve only just begun….
