The Times Hails BLUBA LU

The Times has praised “World Melancholy” – the new album by Bulgarian artists Bluba Lu. “Some albums come out of nowhere; this one comes from Bulgaria, which might as well be the next best thing if what you are looking for is sensual trip-hop or jazz-inspired film scores”, writes the influential British daily.

“Yet this otherworldliness is what makes the collaboration between the Bluba Lu duo, the Primo chamber orchestra and the vocalist Andronia Popova such a winner. On tracks such as The Cage or To Love You they take you back to a time when listening to Portishead was a pleasure”, says The Times.

The new Bluba Lu CD “World Melancholy” is out now in the UK for £11.99.
