NWOBHM legends Saxon have returned to the studio to start recording their next full-length album. The follow-up to 2007’s “The Inner Sanctum” is tentatively due before the end of the year via SPV.

Bono was awarded an honourary Doctor of Law Degree by Japan’s Keio University at a ceremony held at the school on May 27. U2’s frontman received the honour “in recognition for his work in the fight against poverty and AIDS in Africa”…

Bulgaria’s rock band Sunrize shall record a cover version of Uriah Heep‘s classic song “July Morning“. What’s more important is that the new version of theВ track shall feature two of the British band members – Ken Hensley and John Lawton! The recordings shall take place in the end of June 2008 in Sunrize’s hometown, Burgas.
