The Police have received a high honour from France yesterday “for their contribution to the arts”. Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland, who played two sold-out reunion shows in Paris last weekend, were greeted by the French Culture Minister Christine Albanel herself, and were honoured as chevaliers of the Order of Arts and Letters.
