Scorpions and Whitesnake are to co-headline the Spanish edition of the Monsters Of Rock, which happens on June 18 in Zaragoza. Also on the bill are W.A.S.P., Saxon, Apocalyptica and Primal Fear.

Former Machine Head/Testament drummer Chris Kontos has joined Spiralarms. The US metal band also includes ex-members of Forbidden and Systematic.

Californian extreme metalheads Wicked Wisdom and French metallers Gojira will both play at this year’s Download Festival on June 9.
