Sofia, Bulgaria’s Toucan Bluzz & Rock Bar shall host a live punk rock night this Friday, December 5. The event shall feature sets by the local acts RemontВ and Counterbuff, helped out by Croatia’s Grupa Tvog Zivota.

The Dillinger Escape Plan are tentatively planning on entering the studio in June or July 2009 with producer Steve Evetts (a.o. Sepultura, Every Time I Die) to begin recording their new album. A late 2009 release is expected. The Dillinger Escape Plan – “Milk Lizard“

After releasing its debut album “V Is for Vagina” a year ago, Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan’s side project Puscifer is finally ready to make its live debut, too. This will happen in Las Vegas on February 13. Puscifer – “Cuntry Boner“

Dino Cazares and his current band Divine Heresy shall enter studio in February 2009 to start recording their second full-length album. The CD will be produced by Logan Mader and Lucas Baker, collectively known as Dirty Icon.

Morrissey will release a new studio album, entitled “Years of Refusal”, on February 23. The CD (view cover in the left) will be preceded by the single “I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris”. Another song off the effort, “Shame Is the Name”, features vocals from The Pretenders’ frontwoman Chrissie Hynde.
