STRATOVARIUS frontman Timo Kotipelto has entered Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki, Finland in August to begin recording his third solo album, tentatively due in early 2007 via his own label, High and Loud Records.

Former NIGHTWISH frontwoman Tarja Turunen received a platinum sales award for sales in excess of 10,000 copies of her Christmas single “Yhden Enkelin Unelma“, which topped the Finnish charts in 2004 and again in 2005. Check out a picture of Tarja with the award below.
