Metallica, The Stooges, Jeff Beck, Run DMC, War, Wanda Jackson, Little Anthony & The Imperials, Bobby Womack and Chic have been nominated for induction into to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009. The ceremony will take place on April 4 at the Public Hall in Cleveland.

Two new solo tracks from Scott Weiland, entitled “Missing Cleveland” and “Paralysis“, can be heard online. They are available for streaming respectively here and here. Both cuts will appear on the singer’s sophomore solo album, “Happy in Galoshes” (view cover in the left), scheduled for release on November 25 via the artist’s label Softdrive Records.
