Tim Cronin, a founding member of MONSTER MAGNET, has died, aged 63.
Cronin had been diagnosed earlier this year with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), an incurable neurodegenerative disease, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

The fifth edition of the Rebel Rebel festival will be held on 13 and 14 September at Sofia’s Velodrome.
CLAWFINGER and THE SISTERS OF MERCY are confirmed to headline the two nights with several important local bands also on the bill – Цар Плъх, Lek City Case, ALI, Me And My Devil, Hellion Stone.

ILL NINO revealed that JYNX star Tommy Roulette is their brand new frontman, replacing Tommy Vext, who took over for Marcos Leal.

Sidney George Wilson, better known as the mask-wearing turntablist for heavy metal group SLIPKNOT, is engaged to Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s daughter Kelly.
The 48-year-old musician proposed to the 40-year-old Kelly backstage at Ozzy’s final concert with BLACK SABBATH at Villa Park in Birmingham.

A collection of pre-BLACK SABBATH recordings when the UK band was named EARTH will be released on July 25 via Big Bear Records.
‘Earth: The Legendary Lost Tapes’ was recorded during the foursome’s early days in 1969 by music promoter Jim Simpson, who went on to become BLACK SABBATH’s first manager.
