Nevermore are to play four European festival shows this Summer as a four-piece. This is because guitarist Steve Smyth is suffering from end stage kidney failure, the result of a congenital birth defect. The festivals in question are Italy’s Gods Of Metal, Germany’s Rock Hard, Sweden Rock, and Ireland’s Rock Fest Belfast.

Norwegian hard rock band Cat Eye has inked a deal with Powerzone Records for the worldwide release of their first full-length album, “Reaching for the Sky“. A late 2006 release is expected.
