The previously-scheduled P.O.D. and Filter co-headline European tour, which had been set for January and February 2009, has been cancelled after P.O.D. revealed they are to go on hiatus. In the statement, Filter said they were planning to reschedule the dates to play headline shows of their own.
Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery, also known for his work with Korn and Dark New Day, has just release the debut EP by his solo project Hello Demons… Meet Skeletons. The effort, entitled “Chills” (view cover below), features six mostly acoustic songs recorded in 10 days in September with Clint’s brother Corey producing.

Norway’s gothic metallers Sirenia shall release their new album on January 23, 2009 via Nuclear Blast. Entitled “The 13th Floor” (view cover in the left), the CD was recorded in France and Norway, while the mixing and mastering sessions took place at the Antfarm Studios in Denmark with Tue Madsen.
