UK rockers Tigertailz are the final act confirmed for this year’s Z Rock 06 Festival, being held on Sunday, September 24th at JB’s in Dudley, UK. The bill also features Toby Jepson, former frontman of the Little Angels, Snakeryder and Eden.

Less Than Jake are to release a special edition of new album ‘In With The Out Crowd’. This will come with a bonus DVD (including studio footage) and a CD-ROM (with live, acoustic and re-mixed songs). This is to be packaged in a leather-bound book, with a signed poster.

They may not have an album title as yet, but Machine Head have confirmed some of the song titles for the next record. These include ‘Hale’, ‘Aesthetics Of Hate’, ‘The Beautiful Morning’ and ‘Now I Lay Thee Down’. No news yet on whe recording will start.

Arch Enemy singer Angela Gossow is to guest on one track on the new album from all-girl Greek black metalheads Astarte. The record is to be called ‘Demonized‘.

The Stooges are currently recording their first album since 1973. The band, with Iggy on vocals, are recording with Steve Albini, although Jack White from the White Stripes is likely to produce part of the as yet untitled album. Expect a release next year.

Ghost Machine, the band previously known as Motograter, are to release their new album at the end of June. Called ‘Hypersensitive‘, it will be on tne Corporate Punishment label.

Life Of Agony frontman Keith Caputo is to release his second solo album on May 1. To be called ‘Heart’s Blood On Your Dawn’, it will only be available through the singer’s official website, or on tour.

Shade Empire, who are described as ‘dark/black metal’, have signed to Dynamic Arts. Expect an album called ‘Intoxicate O.S.’ to be issued later in the year.
