Connecticut hardcore/metal veterans HATEBREED have released their first new music in nearly five years, ‘Make The Demons Obey’.

The track, which can be streamed below, is the first taste of new HATEBREED material after the group’s ‘Weight Of The False Self’ album which came out in 2020.

Rolling Stone is reporting that George Kooymans, guitarist and co-founder of the Dutch rockers GOLDEN EARRING, has died. He was 77.

Kooymans’ family confirmed his death to the Dutch outlet AD, saying the musician died from the effects of ALS, which he was diagnosed with in 2020.

Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne has died at the age of 76, his family has announced.

A statement said: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.

The central train station will host a mini-festival this Friday, headlined by two rock bands – WICKEDA and X-R@Y. Several children’s dance and musical collectives will also take part.

The festival will kick off at 4 pm and is free for the audience.
