The Police have received a high honour from France yesterday “for their contribution to the arts”. Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland, who played two sold-out reunion shows in Paris last weekend, were greeted by the French Culture Minister Christine Albanel herself, and were honoured as chevaliers of the Order of Arts and Letters.

Nightwish, Dream Theater, Blind Guardian and Threshold are among the bands contributing songs to the movie “In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale”.
