Biohazard are just released a DVD. It features live footage shot during the band’s European tour, with the likes of Hatebreed and Agnostic Front. In fact, there’s film of every band on those dates. The ‘Hazard are also working on a career retrospective DVD.

Medieval prog folkies Circulus are to release new album ‘Clocks Are Like People’, through Rise Above in July. It was produced by Kit Woolven.

Arch Enemy are to release a double disc DVD in August. Called ‘Live Apocalypse’, most of the footage was shot at The Forum in London during December 2004, although there are also three songs filmed in Manchester last December.

Megadeth have a new deal in place. It’s with Roadrunner. The band are currently working on a new, as yet untitled album.

Firebird, featuring former Napalm Death/Carcass guitarist Bill Steer, release new album ‘Hot Wings’ in early July. This will be on the Rise Above label.

Dave Baksh, guitarist with Sum 41, has left the Canadian punks. He intends to concentrate on his other band, Brown Brigade. They’re said to have a more classic metal approach.

Opeth have a new drummer. He’s Martin Axenrot, who takes over from Martin Lopez. The latter has decided to leave the Swedish band, because of ongoing health problems.

Testament are teaming up with Onslaught and Xentrix to play Bradford Rio’s on June 3. The previous day, Testament are in London, at the Islington Academy.

Tool are likely to have songs included in the upcoming video game вЂGuitar Hero 2’. The enigmatic band are also planning a live DVD.

Anathema are to release a DVD called ‘A Moment In Time’ through Metal Mind on June 19. This features a live performance filmed at this year’s Metalmania Festival in Poland. There will also be a number of extras, including video clips and a documentary.
