Perry Farrell‘s new band Satellite Party has signed with Columbia, which will release its self-titled debut album later this year. Рўhe project boasts guest appearances by Red Hot Chili Peppers members Flea and John Frusciante, plus New Order bassist Peter Hook.

Kasabian have titled their second album ‘Empire’– after the band’s private ‘Star Wars’-inspired buzzword.Scheduled for release on September 4, it was recorded after they returned from touring the US with Oasis in November last year. The Leicester five-piece spent four eventful weeks at Rockfield Studios in Wales putting the album together.
