German power metallers Primal Fear have set “New Religion” as the title of their new album, due on August 31 via Frontiers Records. The CD shall contain 11 songs, some of them recorded with special guest appearances by Magnus Karlsson of Starbreaker, Kai Hansen of Gamma Ray and Simone Simons of Epica.

A previously unreleased song by Adler’s Appetite, featuring original Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler (on the photo), has been posted online at www.myspace.com/stevenadlersite. Swedish metallers EvergreyВ have officially parted ways with bassist Fredrik Larsson – only nine months after he was recruited as the replacement for Michael Hakansson, who, on the other hand, left in order to join HammerFall. Apart from that, Evergrey are working on the follow-up to 2006’s “Monday Morning Apocalypse”, due later in the year.
